Great staff and tasty breakfast!

We had a nice stay for 3 nights. The staff was super helpful and friendly, giving us great tips on what to do around Baton Rouge. The breakfast was awesome too, way better than your typical hotel fare. A bit noisy at night, but overall, it was still a good spot for families.

The indoor heated pool felt like a sauna, making it hard to enjoy. We ended up heading to the Comfort Inn next door to swim with friends. The air conditioning needed maintenance three times. However, the room was comfy and clean. Breakfast offered a great variety, definitely exceeded typical expectations for a hotel. Staff were friendly and gave us good recommendations for local dining. Overall, some ups and downs, but the stay had its perks.

I also noticed several maintenance issues, the bottom drawer handle was missing, and the curtains couldn't be opened. The air conditioning unit wasn't reliable, requiring maintenance visits multiple times, which can be frustrating after a long day. The indoor pool turned out to be stifling hot, making it nearly impossible to enjoy after a day of activities, prompting us to seek relief next door instead.

We had a lovely time exploring the Baton Rouge Zoo, especially enjoying the Otter Pond and checking out the baby black rhino! The indoor heated pool was a bonus for the kids after a long day out. The room was spacious and cozy for our family of six.

My wife says that the breakfast options were a bit limited during the weekend, which left the kids wanting a little more variety.

This hotel suits me perfectly with free parking, a fitness center, and a great indoor pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me find places with good exchange rates, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and explored the Otter Pond and L'aquarium de Louisiane at the Baton Rouge Zoo. The hotel’s amenities were great with fast Wi-Fi and a nice fitness center. Perfect spot to kick back after visiting nearby casinos or catching an LSU game.

One downside was that the AC was a bit noisy, which affected our sleep during an otherwise fun stay.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was pretty sweet! We had a cozy Standard King Room with clean digs, and the breakfast spread was top-notch—way better than your typical continental fare! Plus, the staff was super friendly, giving us some great local dining tips. What a treat! A major highlight was visiting Paul Wong's nearby for some bomb Chinese food!

Now, on the flip side, the indoor pool was a total bust for us—hard to enjoy when it feels like a sauna in there! We ended up swimming at Comfort Inn with friends instead. Also, the air conditioning was a pain, needing three maintenance visits. At least we laughed it off in the end—every cloud has a silver lining!

Clean room, clean bathroom, with good water pressure and a plentiful breakfast that included a great selection of hot food and healthy options served by friendly staff showcasing pride in their work.
